Our Story

About Maya’s Dream

Useful things deserve another chapter. Maya’s Dream is building a neighborhood swap community for people who want less clutter, lower spending and a more connected place to live.

Our Mission

Help neighbors turn unused belongings into everyday possibilities. From students furnishing a first apartment to families passing on outgrown essentials, we believe the next thing you need may already be nearby.

Built Locally, From the Start

We plan to launch in dense campus and apartment communities, then grow neighborhood by neighborhood. Our planned experience brings together photo-assisted listings, Swap Points and local matching to make exchanges simpler and fairer.

Thoughtful Exchanges

Our launch approach prioritizes verified profiles, item screening and public meetup spots. These are our founding commitments and product plans; feature availability will depend on the stage of your local launch.
